As Senior Night approaches under the lights of Trustees Field, we proudly recognize the incredible student-athletes who have given their all to Westford Academy Football. The Class of 2026 has embodied what it means to wear the maroon and gray — commitment, resilience, and pride. Each of these seniors has left their mark on the program, both on and off the field.

Tommy Bonenfant (#99)

Position: Linebacker Experience: 5 years Honors: High School Football Favorite Moment: Al Duffet speeches.Other Sports: Wrestling & Baseball Future Plans: College and firefighting. Tommy says, “Thanks to all my coaches,” and embodies the grit that defines WA Football.

Ben Chen (#1)

Position: Running Back Experience: High School Football Honors: High Honors Favorite Moment: Scoring his first varsity touchdown.Other Sports: Wrestling Future Plans: Attend college. Ben thanks the “WA Football coaching staff” for helping him grow as both an athlete and a person.

Carter Chiara (#18)

Position: O-Line/DE/WR/DB Experience: 2 yearsHonors: Honor Roll Favorite Moment: Britain Covey’s 85-yard TD pass to Tyler Huntley at Utah.Other Sports: Track Future Plans: College. Carter is inspired by Britain Covey and brings that same determination to the field each week.

Brian Cross (#53)

Position: Center/Linebacker Experience: 4 years Honors: High Honor Roll Favorite Moment: The entire 2023 JV football season. Other Sports: Baseball Future Plans: Attend college and find an internship. Brian thanks his coaches and teammates “for a great four years” and will be remembered for his steady leadership.

Kyle Durkin (#70)

Position: DE/LT Experience: 4 years Favorite Moment: The 2024 season.Other Sports: Baseball Future Plans: College. Kyle credits his parents as his biggest inspiration and adds, “Thank you to Coach Duffet for getting me to play.”

Aidan Fitzpatrick (#80)

Position: Defensive End / Offensive Lineman Experience: 4 years Honors: Honor Roll | High Honors Favorite Moment: Getting his first varsity sack as a sophomore. Other Sports: Snowboarding & Lacrosse Future Plans: College and a successful career. Aidan thanks his family, coaches, and friends “for the great times during my high school experience.”

Leo Koutsoukos (#71)

Position: OL/DL Experience: 3 years Honors: High Honor Roll Favorite Moment: Playing with the freshman team. Other Sports: Baseball Future Plans: College. Leo is grateful to his coaches and teammates for making football a memorable experience.

Sean Masterson (Team Manager)

Experience: 4 years Honors: Honor Roll Favorite Moment: Thanksgiving Day Game 2023 Other Sports: Baseball & Skiing Future Plans: College. Sean has been an integral part of the WA Football family since freshman year, always contributing with dedication and heart.

Teddy Hirbour (#8)

Position: WR/DB Experience: 4 years Honors: Varsity Football Starter Favorite Moment: Beating Chelmsford in an emotional regular-season win junior year. Other Sports: Basketball Future Plans: Study business and “make lots of money and have a family.” Teddy says, “Thank you to all of my coaches for the life lessons that will stay with me forever.”

Position: CB/WR Experience: 3 years Honors: Honor Roll Favorite Moment: His first varsity start. Future Plans: College. Akshath thanks his family and everyone who has supported him on his football journey.

Jhavian Rivera (#3)

Position: Middle Linebacker Experience: 6 years Honors: Honor Roll | High Honors | DE Honors Favorite Moment: Getting a sack in the Al Greene game with Chris Butts. Other Sports: Wrestling Future Plans: “Make loads of money.” Jhavian’s leadership and tenacity on defense have defined his WA career.

Dante Vasiliu (#14)

Position: WR/OLB Experience: 6 years Honors: High Honor Roll Favorite Moment: One-handed pick-six as a freshman at Stony Brook. Other Sports: Baseball Future Plans: College and success in life. Dante says, “Thank you to all the coaches, players, and my family who made this possible. We are the STORM!”

Ila Tamizharasan (#6)

Position: WR/DB Experience: Middle School Flag (2 yrs) & High School Honors: Honor Roll Favorite Moment: JV Leominster game sophomore year. Other Sports: Hockey & Track Future Plans: Play football in college. Ila is inspired by the Class of 2025 and Deonte Smith, bringing energy and commitment to every rep.

Jared Welsh (#19)

Position: DE Experience: 8th–12th grade Favorite Moment: Beating Acton on Thanksgiving every year. Other Sports: Baseball Future Plans: College baseball and a business degree. Jared says, “Thank you to my parents for always being there and to my coaches for giving me the chance to play football at a higher level.”




Thank You, Class of 2026

Each of these seniors has left a legacy of dedication, teamwork, and Ghost Pride. From early morning lifts to late-night bus rides, they’ve lived the values of Westford Academy Football. This Friday night, we celebrate not only their accomplishments but their character.
